Large centrepiece - 46 cm - yellow earthenware with polychrome enamels - 20th century

Large decorative centrepiece in yellow faience, adorned with flowering branches and fruits in polychrome glazes. Beautiful patinated gilded brass mount, with large leaf-shaped handles, intricately worked base, and classical style decoration. Elegant decorative work from the 20th century, in the Napoléon III style, combining faience, polychrome enamel decoration, and gilded brass mount. A heavy and very decorative piece, which can also serve as a presentation bowl, prestigious catch-all, or decorative container for sugared almonds/candies. Approximate dimensions: Length: 46 cm Width: 24 cm Height: 37.7 cm Weight: 5.414 kg. Generally good decorative condition, with some wear and marks, patina on the mounts.
