Scandinavian modern art design pottery, a blue vintage ceramic bowl

This is a stunning and rather rare pottery bowl or plate from alingsås keramik, sweden, with fantastic pattern and color. It is handmade and the pattern and the glazing is just amazing and so typical for ceramic from alingsås. The color is warm blue with hints of a pale blue, the pattern is a stylized fish made by imprints in the clay covered with a darker glaze as is the outside which as a dark brown glaze. This is the product of a very skilled potterer and is showcasing great skills in the trade making this a statement piece which will create a cozy and warm vibe in any interior, due to the rustic and handmade feeling. It is 21cm (6.69") in diameter and 5, 5cm (2.16") high and in a very good condition.
