Rare pair of wall sconces attributed to Louis Sognot, emblematic of French rattan design from the 1950s. The model consists of a curved and bound rattan wall support, holding a spherical openwork lantern with an inner textile diffuser. (Some small stains) The lampshades suspended by rattan rings diffuse a soft and warm light. Very high-quality craftsmanship and superb original patina. Electrified and functional.
