Vintage hand-painted owl catchall.

Vintage lacquered catchall featuring an owl with a very expressive gaze. Second half of the 20th century. Delicate gradient painting work in brown, gray, and beige. The eyes are made of glass or resin. The varnish is very slightly yellowed under the left eye (see photo). The overall condition is very good. Felt pad underneath the catchall. A charming object that has a real presence.
