Art Deco Bedside Tables In Wood, Czechoslovakia 1940s

Quite unique set of two bedside tables from art deco era. Produced in czechoslovakia in 1940s, the tables are made of wooden construction full of beautiful, typical art deco lines and details. Curved edges, small drawer, original resi handles and so on. Trully beautiful. The finish is in a technique which was very typical in 1940s. It is painted wood pattern. The tables are made of wooden construction, yet the finished design is painted on. This was historically used in the era when the wood was not beautiful enough to be left as the finished product. We had the tables restored but kep this original idea. The tables are very strong and look beautiful. Restored, some patina still visible. Beautiful item to any interior.
