Manufacture vallauris. Brown and green vase. Glazed sandstone. H: 10 cm. Manufacture stamp on the base 'vallauris' In perfect condition. Vallauris has been an important centre of french ceramics since antiquity. Several eras have made the fame of this city of potters with the culinary pottery of the nineteenth century, the ceramics of art of the belle-époque and the interwar period, the pottery of artists of the 50s, the tourist pottery of the 70s and 90s and contemporary art ceramics.
