Turquoise and black glazed stoneware bowl – signed Accolay

Glazed stoneware bowl signed Accolay, with a rounded body and wide opening. Completely covered in a spectacular glaze blending deep turquoise and glossy black, this piece features a decor of vertical drips on the outside, while the interior offers a speckled brown and turquoise effect on a cream background. The contrast of textures and the richness of the glazes perfectly evoke the bold aesthetic of Accolay potters in the 1960s-1970s. Measuring 12 cm high and 18 cm in diameter, this hand-turned bowl has a slightly irregular shape, typical of handmade productions. The signature "Accolay" is incised under the base. Very good overall condition, with a few tiny discreet chips in the glaze on the bottom. Ideal as a centrepiece, a catch-all, or simply as a decorative object.
