Very beautiful empire chest of drawers back from egypt in flamed mahogany. 19th century period. Our chest of drawers is topped with thick, intact slate gray marble. (3 cm) opening at the waist with a large drawer sliding into the ogee. And on the front by 3 wide and deep drawers with finely chiseled gilded bronze pull handles. 2 keys are present and working: 1 key opens the first 2 drawers and the second opens the last drawer. Rests at the front on 2 bronze-patinated clawed feet and 2 straight rear feet. A dovetail assembly on its drawers. Good general state of conservation.
