Rocaille sugar tongs in silver metal with lion claw medallion

This elegant sugar tongs is made of silver-plated metal in the rocaille style. A pretty cutlery for serving sugar cubes or ice cubes. It is decorated with a very rich louis XV decoration composed of scrolls and rocaille around a medallion. It ends with lion claws. It bears the hallmarks "18" and "métal blanc". In good condition, this sugar tongs measures 15 cm. I note scratches from use and traces of oxidation.
