Glass ashtray sommerso de murano from the middle of the century - italy, 1960s. Sommerso is a technique developed in murano in the 1930s that became very popular in the 1950s and 60s. The result is a glass with contrasting colors that is usually wrapped in a transparent layer (here, cobalt blue and transparent glass). Slight traces of use at the bottom and small defect in the transparent part (last photo) Weight 1, 180kg. Ref 62/22.
