Glazed stoneware jug

Handcrafted jug with a wide neck and a slender, open handle in dark stoneware, slightly greyed frozen brown, unglazed on the body and the bottom of the handle. The irregular surfaces and rough appearance contrast with the beautiful creamy off-white and café au lait glazing with drips on the upper third, the handle, and the interior. Four incised concentric lines delineate the raw and glazed parts. Height: 19 cm, neck diameter: 10 cm. Unsigned. In very good condition. Original, both rustic and elegant, with a beautiful presence.
