Oil landscape by swedish painter albert krüger (1885-1965). The picture was painted by the artist in 1937. Hand-signed in the lower right corner and hand-signed, dated and described by the artist on the back of the painting. Made in oil technique on canvas glued on a board. In an original period setting. Albert sigfrid krüger. Born november 1, 1885, died june 8, 1965. He was a swedish painter. He studied at the evening technical school in malmö 1903-1904, then in 1905 at the althina technical school and painting school in stockholm. He was a member of the aura, lund art group. Albert krüger traveled a lot, incl. To germany, france, switzerland, italy and the nordic countries. Krüger began his artistic career as a naive painter, but later became a landscape painter with a strong color feature. His works are represented in stockholm contemporary museum, norrköping art museum, kristianstad museum, malmö museum, tomelilla art collection, ystad art museum, simrishamn österlen museum and landskrona museum.
