Pair of 2 Danish vintage Nova pendant lamps by Jo Hammerborg, Fog og Morup

The aluminium lamp Nova by Jo Hammerborg from 1963. When lit, the lamp provides a soft, glare-free downward light, making it ideal for low hanging, and the shiny surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of several themes that ran through Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals - copper, brass and aluminium. Dimensions: diameter: 41cm height: 18cm The lamps are in very good condition, with minor scratches and paint chips. The lamps have been thoroughly cleaned, the cable has been replaced with a new, braided cable. The lamps come with a new, metal canopy.
