Nice cheese service / vintage dessert in white earthenware from salins decorated with an emerald green stripe covered with a crown of golden wheat. The lot includes: – 9 plates (d 19 cm) – a dish (d 27 X w 31.5 cm) Stamped below: " salins- france" The salins earthenware factory was created in 1857 in salins-les-bains in franche-comté. Specialized in the production of table service and domestic ceramics. It will be taken over in 1912 by edouard charbonnier, son of the director of the longchamp earthenware factory, who will be at the origin of the impulse of the manufacture crowned in 1925 at the international exhibition of modern decorative and industrial arts in paris. The factory was then integrated from 1968 into the sarreguemines earthenware factory. These pieces of crockery will be a beautiful element of retro decoration for your kitchen with their atypical shape and colorful touch. Good general condition, but a plate has a slight shine visible in the photos.
