This magnificent round bowl is made of blue glass created by rené lalique. This delicate bowl represents stylized morning glories flowers. These are climbing plants from the bindweed family. It is a work of pressed molded glass opalescent in places, signed "r. Lalique france" in the mold. The model was created in 1921 by rené lalique. It appears in the catalog of 1928 and 1932, and on the 1937 price list, sold out on april 28, 1939, not repeated after 1947. Bibliography: p.293 félix marcilhac, r. Lalique - catalogue raisonné de l'œuvre de verre, les éditions de l'amateur, paris, 1994. The signature is molded in the mass. In good condition, it measures approximately 21.5 cm in diameter X 5.5 cm in height. I note visible scratches in the hollow of the bowl.
