Glazed ceramic fruit bowl, slipware - Vallauris, 1950s/60s

Beautiful ceramic fruit bowl from Vallauris, with a free and wavy shape reminiscent of an open flower. It features a superb, very shiny chocolate brown glaze, enhanced with stylised floral patterns in shades of pink, cream, and green, with beautiful effects of texture and depth. A decorative piece typical of the artistic production of Vallauris, both original and elegant. A few minimal chips are present on the edge, visible in the photographs, without detracting from the overall aesthetic of the bowl. Dimensions: approximately 30cm X 31cm. Weight: 1.520kg.
