This is a zoomorphic plate in the shape of a fish. In the center of the plate, a breton woman is represented in her folk outfit. This plate comes from les sables d'olonne. The inscription is on the back. The plate is made of ceramic and has been hand-painted. A black wooden support allows it to be displayed. Les sables d'olonne is a department of vendée in the pays de la loire region of france. It is a city facing the sea. There is an important fishing port with artisanal fishing (sole, cuttlefish, cod, etc.) the plate is second-hand and in very good vintage condition. A little paint is missing on one edge of the plate (see photo). Some scratches and normal wear on the wooden support plate dimensions: 24 cm X 22 cm total weight: 585 g to offer or to decorate a house by the sea or on a marine theme sold as is.
