Vintage ceramic lamp 1960

Ceramic lamp with geometric decoration, in the spirit of modernist productions from the mid-20th century. The piece features an architectural silhouette, with a tall, cylindrical body resting on a slightly tapered base. The relief decoration is rhythmically punctuated by vertical shapes, resembling small stylised openings, animated by touches of bright green, brown, and ochre yellow. The dark glaze, almost metallic in places, adds a lot of depth to the whole. The shades of black, oxidised green, and brown create a beautiful material effect, with a presence that is both raw and decorative. This lamp retains a very graphic spirit, akin to ceramic creations from the 1950s-1960s, where the utilitarian object becomes a true decorative piece.
