Mid-century modern Scandinavian brutalist pottery vase by Mari Simmulson for Upsala Ekeby, 1970s

A fantastic vintage ceramic vase known as 'Ringo' made by the very talented Mari Simmulson. It has a simple design, yet it is still very special. The patterns are graphic with earth tones as well as stripes, with only a few regular dots of glazing at the top with small pale green dots. This vase will serve as a centerpiece in any setting, yet it will also create an elegant and warm ambiance in any interior due to its rustic and handmade feeling. It is 14.5 cm high and 7 cm in diameter, and in very good condition.
