Art Deco Amsterdam School coffee table or side table, Netherlands, 1930s. Solid oak frame with oak and coromandel veneer details. The table is in very good condition with minor signs of wear consistent with its age and use. The table has been lightly restored, preserving the warm wood grain and patina. The Amsterdam School style from the period 1910-1935 is characterized by the use of expressive and imaginative, sleek forms, related to Expressionism and Modernism.
