Portrait of a woman at coca-cola dating from the late 70s or early 80s. Oil on canvas of 95x80cm signed lower right I. Guisset. Baguette frame in natural wood. Ignace guisset, between new fauvism and pop art! Born in montignies-sur-sambre in 1920 and died in woluwe saint pierre in 2000. He trained at the academy of saint-josse-ten-noode from 1972 where he obtained a degree in drawing in 1977 and painting in 1979. He won the first prize for cultural youth and the grand prix de wallonie in 1983. He has collaborated on the murals of the rue de brabant and the rue de liedekerke in brussels. He likes to paint landscapes, figures, portraits, city views (brussels) and fair scenes. These landscapes are inspired by the surroundings of brussels (grimbergen or the forest of soignes, for example), provence and auvergne. New fawn, he is a convinced colorist with a touch and a dynamic style going as far as the clash of colors, not without recalling pop art. Represented in the collections of the charlier museum in saint-josse-ten-noode and in the communal house of woluwe saint pierre.
