Garouste & Bonetti Koala mohair velvet armchairs and ottomans 1995

Superb pair of armchairs and their ottomans by elizabeth garouste & mattia bonetti, koala model, with curved wood structure and patinated solid bronze base. Garouste & bonetti began their collaboration and gained worldwide recognition following the interior design of the parisian nightclub le palace in 1979, commissioned by fabrice eamer. This model of armchairs and ottomans was designed by the duo in 1995, and published by bgh. Each patinated bronze foot is stamped bg they have been completely restored and covered with a very soft off-white mohair velvet fabric. The dimensions of the ottomans, diameter 42 centimeters and height 39 centimeters. Reference: y.
