Amsterdam School Arts and Crafts tea cabinet Dutch Colonial
An extremely rare tea cabinet, of which probably only one was made. Created under the influence of the Dutch East Indies colonial era, in the circle of the Amsterdam School. The cabinet has suffered some damage to the fragile woodwork of the legs: one hind leg has a fracture but is still stable (see the photos for details). A unique piece of furniture in which the Amsterdam School and Indonesian influences come together in a remarkable way. A characterful piece for an Amsterdam School, Arts and Crafts or colonial interior. Origin: the Netherlands. Condition: damage to the fragile woodwork of the legs; one hind leg has a fracture but is stable (see photos).
