Charming small display cabinet made of carved oak. Late 19th century. This small piece of furniture is equipped with three glass panels, allowing for a beautiful view of its contents. Inside, there is a wooden shelf covered with damask fabric in baroque patterns, in shades of old red, to showcase your items, bottles, etc. The front door opens with a small brass handle. Unlike a classic small wall display cabinet, its structure with legs suggests it was designed to be placed on a support piece of furniture or a pedestal. The richly worked glass door features a sculpted arch with corner brackets adorned with floral motifs, and the base of the glass is framed by two sculpted relief rosettes. The top is surrounded by a three-sided wooden gallery for placing objects, preventing them from slipping, and is accented with a frieze of sculpted beads. It rests on slightly curved legs, ending in scrolls at the front and straight at the back, giving it a robust appearance despite its small size. In excellent condition.
