A sublime and very rare pair of state armchairs from the Southwest of France, dating from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. A beautiful model in richly worked solid oak with its characteristic claw feet. The armchairs were completely redone in the traditional manner by an upholsterer and reupholstered in a superb fabric from the collections of the very chic Maison Pansu, made of ecru linen and decorated with chocolate brown velvet arabesques (slight fading by light, but with no aesthetic impact). The backrest is 135 cm high, the seat is 53 cm high, the width is 72 cm, and the depth is 81 cm. In excellent condition and of the highest quality, these imposing and remarkable armchairs will make a statement in a very large entrance hall or even a large dining room. Two exceptional classic pieces that will be a hit in a contemporary decor. Don't miss out!!!.
