Sublime and very rare pair of ceremonial armchairs from the South-West of France, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. A beautiful model in richly worked blackened solid oak with its characteristic claw feet. The armchairs have been completely restored in the traditional manner by an upholsterer and covered with a superb fabric from the very chic Maison Pansu, made of ecru linen with chocolate brown velvet arabesque patterns (slight fading from light without aesthetic impact). Height of the backrest 135 cm, seat height 53 cm, width 72 cm, and depth 81 cm. In excellent condition, ultra high quality, these imposing and remarkable armchairs will stand out in a very large entrance hall or in a spacious dining room. Two exceptional classic pieces that will be a hit in contemporary decor. Not to be missed, you won't find another pair like this!!!
