Hollywood Regency lamp base in brass by Roméo Rega, Italy circa 1970.

Splendid XL lamp base from around 1970. Model known as "Skyscraper", in the shape of a building, completely in the pure Hollywood Regency style of the time. Made in Italy, in the style of the famous designer Roméo Rega, it is entirely made of two-tone solid brass alternating between chrome and gold. It consists of a square base measuring 18 cm on each side and 6 cm in height, from which rises a quadrangular shaft measuring 10 cm on each side and 42 cm in height, topped with a socket rod measuring 2 cm on each side and 7 cm in height for a total height of 55 cm. The electrical wiring has been redone with a bronze-coloured wire of 180 cm. In perfect condition, there are only 2 micro dents at the back of the base (see last photo) which do not affect the aesthetics. Ultra high-quality and very chic, this lamp base is just waiting for you to choose a lampshade that matches your decor to become the standout piece in your living room. Italian class!!!
