Totem Floor Lamp Maison Arlus, France circa 1950

Very beautiful "Totem" floor lamp from the famous French lighting house Arlus, dating from around 1950. It features a satin black metal tuning fork structure mounted on a perforated base with a diameter of 25 cm, supporting a significant cylindrical fibreglass lampshade with a grainy finish, measuring 25 cm in diameter and 60 cm in height. The total height of the floor lamp is 160 cm. The black electrical cord with a Bakelite olive switch measures 160 cm from the ground. In superb used condition with a lampshade free of stains or tears (a few black spots on the upper rim, without impact, see photo), this stunningly minimalist light fixture will add a vintage touch to your living room or bedroom.
