Rare floor lamp from the 1960s by the German manufacturer Hesse lights KG. The "true Hesse glow" is hard to find. This lamp stands out for its simplicity, elegance, and clear shape, as recommended by the manufacturer. The fine steel frame is painted black and designed as a classic tripod. The round, slender shade is made of structured plastic (Lystra). It simply rests on the frame from above. The upper edge of the diffuser is folded and rests on the frame's support. The pointed material is translucent and has a texture. In terms of material and colour, the frame and shade create a beautiful contrast. The cable runs inside the frame and is secured to the base by a ring. Authenticity is confirmed by an advertisement from the manufacturer in the 1961 issue of the magazine “Schöne Wohn.”.
