Thonet chair 14-1/2. The 1/2 format (or Kleine Stühle / "small chair") appeared as early as 1885 at Thonet in order to optimize the number of seats in public establishments. Seat height: 46 cm - seat diameter 38 cm total height: 86 cm. Beautiful wooden seat in bouquet of 9 daisies. (no. 336) Original option: side buttresses that contribute to its longevity. Thonet stamp under the seat. Very good general condition and patina of experience - tone of origin walnut sustained. We can equip this chair free of charge with screwed skates (origin Germany), adapted by their material to the coating of the room where it will be used. Work done after purchase.
