This sculptural work illustrates an absolute mastery of the sommerso technique and alexandrite glass (neodymium glass that changes according to light). The piece features an organic layering of coloured sections, subtly transitioning from intense magenta/fuchsia at the base to a lavender and bluish tone at the top, with shades that magically evolve depending on the lighting. The shape is strikingly organic modernism: an asymmetrical body with fluid curves, topped with a pinched neck with four lobes. The base is perfectly ground and polished flat.
