Splendid and authentic Persian carpet from Isfahan (Iran), entirely hand-knotted, measuring 160 X 110 cm. This textile art piece, executed with great finesse, features a particularly sought-after traditional figurative decor: a royal hunting scene (Shikarghah). Against a bright cream background unfolds a lively fresco of rare elegance, populated by Persian horsemen, lions, tigers, and gazelles leaping amidst lush nature. Made from fine high-quality wool on a cotton foundation, it offers a remarkably soft pile and graphic details of surgical precision, visible even on its reverse side. Its colours (deep midnight blue, carmine red, touches of ochre and pink) have retained all their brilliance and contrast. Remarkable condition: Dense and uniform pile, intact original edges, and impeccable fringes. A characterful piece, ideal for adding a touch of soul, history, and classic elegance to your interior (living room, office, or cabinet of curiosities). Technical characteristics: Origin: Iran (Persia), Isfahan / Kashan style. Manufacture: 100% handmade (Persian Senneh knot). Dimensions: 160 X 110 cm (including fringes). Materials: Fine wool pile, cotton warp and weft. Period: Second half of the 20th century (semi-antique / vintage). Condition: Excellent overall condition (close to new, no expenses to foresee).
