Pair of Louis XVI style wall sconces by Lucien GAU, Paris - gilded bronze

Superb pair of Louis XVI style wall sconces, from the famous French bronze maker: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer from Faubourg Saint Antoine, Paris. Made in the second half of the 20th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding and patina, in perfect condition. The sconces are decorated with laurel, acanthus leaves, clusters of fruit, and foliage. Electricity installed and tested, new wires (for E14 bulb). Supplied with amber-coloured tulips, made of glass; they are new.
