Superb ceramic soliflore vase, signed by Jacques Pouchain for the Dieulefit Workshop, dating from the 1950s–1960s. This emblematic piece of Jacques Pouchain's work is distinguished by its sculptural silhouette and stylised decoration evoking an anthropomorphic figure. The modelling is both understated and expressive, characteristic of the revival of French ceramics. The glazing, in nuanced shades of brown and white, presents beautiful variations and material effects, adding depth and authenticity to the whole. The central relief motif, delicately crafted, enhances the decorative character of the piece. Both a work of art and a soliflore, this vase will perfectly fit into a vintage, modern, or collector's interior, where it will bring a strong and unique artistic touch. Very good overall condition. Signature under the base. A rare and sought-after piece, representative of the craftsmanship of Dieulefit and the talent of Jacques Pouchain.
