Elegant stoneware vase with digital decorations enhanced by shades of blue. Work signed by the ceramist Jean Tessier (1931/2020), vase dated 1998, presenting a beautiful balance between raw material and the subtlety of the glazes. Dimensions: Height: 21 cm. Diameter: 11 cm. Perfect condition: no missing parts, chips or cracks; the visible terracotta areas at the neck are original as they were not covered by the glaze during firing. Therefore, there is no defect in terms of breakage or a flaw. Jean Tessier, a French ceramist active from the late 20th century, is known for his stoneware pieces with rich textures and abstract or digital decorations. His work is distinguished by a great freedom of expression in the material, blending spontaneous gesture and technical mastery, with often understated but deep colour plays, particularly in blues, earth tones, and oxides. His works, always unique, reflect a constant exploration of form, touch, and light. Additional information and photos available upon request. Hand delivery on site in Draveil (91, 17 km from Notre-Dame de Paris) or delivery possible in Paris and nearby areas.
