Vintage Robert Sonneman desk lamp, SMC Boxford Holland, 1980s

An iconic lamp designed by Robert Sonneman, produced by SMC Boxford Holland in the 1980s. It features a glass shade and attractive chrome and gold-tone metal legs, setting it apart from other lamps of this style that are typically made of black metal. It is equipped with a halogen dimmer switch, allowing you to adjust the light intensity from very soft to bright. The glass plate beneath the halogen bulb is missing (see photo), but this does not affect its functionality. The rest of the lamp is in good condition. Originally used as a banker's lamp, it still looks great today on a desk, console table, or even on a table for intimate tête-à-têtes with soft lighting.
