Superb console in altuglass (plexi, PMMA), of a very functional size, typical of the 1970s. Design in the style of Charles Hollis Jones, an icon of lucite furniture. Elegant and airy lines, with a thick altuglass top and lower shelf (nearly 3 cm). Cylindrical metal supports (probably brass or chrome-plated steel) with spacers and decorative caps, typical of “glam” or late modernist furniture. Dismantlable construction by spacers, a common technique at the time for this type of furniture. Good stability, signs of use. Very beautiful decorative presence, ideal for an entrance or living room. A real favourite.
