An old desk lamp decorated with an ostrich egg (width 12 cm) Silver metal frame composed of four caryatids, stylized winged women, and a frieze with caryatid vine pampre. The central barrel and the base of which decorated with gadroons. This combination of real ostrich egg and quite rare silver metal structure. Electrified, works. Some wear, silvering passed in places but good general condition. Period: late nineteenth, napoleon III style. Height 39 cm.
