Thonet table or desk No. 8122, circa 1910, oak top.

Thonet N°222 side table in bent wood, dating from around 1904, in the dimensions listed in the 1914 catalogue. It can be considered as a desk, work table, or dining corner. It bears the number 8122 in the second nomenclature. Original American mahogany finish, under shellac varnish. The top is made of solid oak, retaining its "service" patina, in good condition. The palmettes give it volume, a certain elegance, and even a definite elegance. No markings, but the style and dimensions are convincing. The apron allows ample space to sit on a standard chair with a seat height of 47 cm.
