Side table or desk by Jacob & Josef Kohn, Austria, 1916

This table is a creation of the company Jacob & Josef Kohn, dating from around 1916. The belt is decorated with stylised fan motifs (two at the front) in the Austrian Art Nouveau style (Jugendstil). Dimensions: 110 X 64 cm, H: 78 cm. The legs are very slightly curved. Style: It reflects the transition to a streamlined aesthetic influenced by Viennese design. The top is not original - see our photos. Material: Made of bent wood, characteristic of Kohn's production. Use: Ideal as a side table or desk.
