Wilkhahn Delta Highback set of 2 brown leather armchairs by Delta Design

This pair of Wilkhahn Delta 2000 highback armchairs of the later generation, with fully leather-covered armrests, in a warm brown leather shade, brushed aluminum and with brown shells, is in good condition. The leather and the piping show a light but also attractive patina, the plastic shells and the aluminum feet only have minimal signs of wear. The chairs are both rotatable. The Delta 2000 model was designed in 1968 by the Delta group. A classic in the 60s design. More than 100 years ago, the Wilkhahn company was founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening as a chair factory. In 1946 contact was established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with the designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the premium manufacturers of office furniture.
