Jansen or Ramsay coffee table, 1940s/50s, onyx and bronze

Jansen or Ramsay coffee table, 1940s/50s, neoclassical style. The bronze frame, decorated with palmettes, is supported by a base of chiseled, gilt metal spindles adorned with chiseled bronze rings, connected by an elegant double-arched gilt metal stretcher. The frame is in very good condition and beautiful with its light patina. It also has height-adjustable feet. The top is onyx with superb graining.
