Carafe ewer the tins of the manor in glass and tin, vintage, Wine and/or water carafe, Green glass carafe, Tin base and beak, Stamped: "legal title" with the stamp of the tins of the manor, on the cove of the carafe. From provençal "acute" (water vase), the ewer is a container intended to contain and pour water. Its use appeared at the end of the 15th century, disappeared in the middle of the 18th century and reappeared. Tables in the mid-19th century for wine service. Dimensions: height: 31.5 cm - widest/bulging diameter: 13 cm.- bottom diameter: 6 cm. Weight: 935g. Tbe, very good state. Sold as it is.
