Elegant French display cabinet stamped M. Hirsch, created by Maurice Hirsch, a French decorator and furniture designer of the 20th century, notably known for his neoclassical style and his work associated with the prestigious Maison Jansen. Made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, it features a beautiful decoration of inlays and fittings in gilded brass, fluted columns, and tapered legs adorned with brass rings. The upper part, glazed at the front and on the sides, offers beautiful luminosity and includes several glass shelves, ideal for displaying glassware, collectibles, or ceramics. The lower part is dressed with a mahogany panel highlighted by an elegant brass frame. A cabinet with particularly elegant proportions, representative of the French neoclassical taste of the mid-20th century, which will fit well in both a classic and contemporary interior. M. Hirsch stamp visible on the piece. Dimensions: Height: 163 cm. Width: 80 cm. Depth: 45 cm. Condition: very good overall condition, with only slight signs of age and use inherent to a vintage piece. Note: as the floor is not level, we have placed a wedge under the right leg. However, the piece is very stable. Period: mid-20th century, probably 1950-1970. Origin: France. Materials: mahogany and mahogany veneer, brass, glass.
