Tea service for 8, egg shell porcelain Nippon, Japan (19 pieces)

Tea service for 8 in Japanese porcelain known as eggshell (Kutani). NIPPON mark on the back, indicating production in Japan between 1891 and 1921. Decorated with painted scenes and characters, including geishas; each cup and saucer features a different scene. Composition (19 pieces): 8 tea cups: ⌀ 8 cm, H 5 cm. 8 saucers: ⌀ 13.5 cm. 1 teapot: 20 X 19 X 14 cm. 1 milk jug: 13 X 14 X 11 cm. 1 sugar bowl: 14 X 15 X 12 cm. Condition: cups, saucers, milk jug, and sugar bowl are flawless. The teapot, without chips, has numerous cracks at the base (see photo): for decorative use only. The flowers visible in some photos are not included.
