Old horizontal glazed stoneware hot water bottle, late 19th century.

Antique bed warmer in glazed stoneware, late 19th century (circa 1870–1900). A beautiful piece of vintage utilitarian ware in salt-glazed stoneware with a cream/light grey hue. Originally intended to hold hot water, it now perfectly serves as a decorative object: a soliflore vase, ikebana arrangement, wabi-sabi decoration, or curiosity cabinet piece. Very good overall condition: no cracks or chips. Small glaze defect on one side. Presence of a remnant cork stopper inside. Beautiful patina and visible turning marks under the base.
