Kai Kristiansen vintage chair in teak, model 42, Denmark 1960s

The famous vintage chair in teak, model 42, was designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Schou Andersen in the 1960s. They will be a great addition to any desk, living room, or bedroom. Solid teak frame and new natural wool upholstery in mustard color make the chair stylish and extraordinary. The model 42 has a comfortable pivoting back and a stable, solid wood structure. Chair #42 perfectly exemplifies Danish modern design’s meld of form, space, and functionality. The chair has been renovated, the wood has been cleaned and preserved with professional compounds. Seat foams needed to be exchanged, which adds much comfort. New fabric was put in the same manner as the original. We leave very minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering that they are 60 years old.
