Coconut flesh red by vitra

Designed by George Nelson, the coconut chair is an armchair typical of 1950s design. It is characterized by a line full of humor and pure, graphic shapes. George Nelson used to compare this piece to a coconut that had opened into eight pieces. He deliberately inverted the colors with the outer shell made of synthetic material in white, while the padding, made from a single piece of foam, is covered in leather. Vitra produces this small armchair, welcoming and comfortable, evoking nature, which allows you to adopt the position you want in your living room, bedroom or office.
