Rare Art Nouveau fireplace screen, France ca. 1910

France / 1910 / fireplace screen / wood, fabric, copper / art nouveau / art deco. A very rare find this french art nouveau fire place screen. Crafted around 1910. This piece contains a wooden frame in the shape of a trapezium with rounded corners - filled with an openwork of a tree and leaves modeled in brass sheet. Behind the brass decoration a glossy ripped fabric that contrasts the wood and metal beautifully. The whole supported on a pair of tripods. The back of the screen in wood. An unique and artistic piece that will uplift any interior style. Ref. 24-0310.
