Vintage dining table in solid elm – Maison Regain – Pierre Chapo spirit – 1970s. Stunning vintage dining table attributed to Maison Regain, made of solid elm with a beautiful warm blonde patina. A piece with a sober and architectural design, particularly interesting for its quality of construction and lines characteristic of French furniture from the 1970s, in the spirit of Pierre Chapo's creations. Its top is made of wooden slats arranged lengthwise, with very nice assembly and finishing work. A particularly ingenious extension system: The table features a retractable extension integrated, hidden under the top and pivoting on an axis. The top slides to allow its deployment. Two additional extensions, added later and made in a matching finish, also allow its length to be increased up to 257 cm. We appreciate both its timeless aesthetic and its functional side, with a particularly well-thought-out design. A very beautiful piece of vintage furniture, ideal for a characterful dining room, a seventies interior, or a decor combining design and natural materials. • Era: around 1970. • Attribution: Maison Regain. • Material: solid elm. • Finish: blonde patina. • Integrated retractable extension system. • Two additional extensions. Beautiful presence and great decorative potential.
